나래바, 유엔빌리지
집이면서 ‘술집’인 곳, 개인의 공간이면서 방송을 보는 모든 사람들의 공간이기도 한 곳.
기능적으로는 집의 역할을 빠짐없이 수행하면서 술집처럼 보이게 하기 위해 ‘모던 홍콩’을 컨셉으로 대담한 컬러와 강렬한 조형언어를 사용했습니다.
나래바의 메인 공간이 될 부엌에 강한 인상을 만들어내기 위해 기본 도형인 원형을 반복적으로 사용했습니다. 묵직하고 진지한 공간의 분위기보다는 가볍고 장난스러워 보이는 인상을 만들기 위해 얇은 아크릴을 재료로 채택했습니다.
붉은 색의 메인 컬러는 벽 뿐만 아니라 천장과 커튼, 가구에 까지 사용하여 저녁에는 공간에 들어온 사람들과 놓인 사물들이 모두 붉게 물들어 보이도록 의도했습니다.
Narae Bar, UN Village
A home and a bar, the most private and at the same time very public through broadcasting. We put the concept of ‘modern Hong Kong’ in the middle, used bold colors and strong formatives in order to create functionally perfect house with the image of a bar.
We used repeated circular forms, a very basic figure, in order to create strong impression in the kitchen, the main space of all. In addition, to give lighter, cheeky impression, not anything heavy and serious, we adopted thin acrylic panels as a key material.
We used the color red not only on the walls but everywhere including the ceiling and furniture. Everything and every people in the space are intened to be tinged in red.
