Intro

3ab는 홍승석, 박재현, 이한별 세 명이 운영하는 건축 회사입니다. 알맞은 공간 환경이 일상에 가져다주는 영향과 기쁨을 중요하게 생각합니다. 오래 지속되어 온 방식이 가진 좋은 점들을 습득하고, 동시에 새로운 시각으로 오래된 것들을 바라보고자 합니다. 담담하게 사고하고 대범하게 시도합니다.

3ab is an architectural firm run by three people, Hong Seungseok, Park Jayhyun and Rhee Hanbyeol. Developing from the very first project in 2011, we are pushing the boundaries and scope of works a bit further every project. We value the impact and joy that a decent space environment brings to everyday life. We are open to learn the good things from old, with renewed perspectives on the base. With quiet ideas, we try bold designs.
Business Scope

3ab는 건축 설계, 실내건축 설계 및 시공, 공간 기획과 브랜딩까지, 공간을 매개로 하는 다양한 프로젝트를 수행하고 있습니다. 디자이너의 이상을 구현하는 예술로서의 디자인이나 빠르고 값싸게 공간을 생산해내는 디자인보다는 의뢰인이 열망하는 바를 공간적으로 잘 해석하고 표현하는 디자인을 하고자 합니다.

Nither an art nor a quick design, what we try is a design that interprets and expresses the clients’ aspirations into a form of space, or with the medium of space.
3ab is involved in a variety of space-based projects, including architectural planning, architectural design, space planning, space design, construction and branding.

홍승석
Hong Seungseok, Co-Founder

경희대학교 건축학과를 졸업하고 서울대학교 대학원 건축학과에서 석사학위를 받았으며 동 대학원에서 박사과정을 수료했습니다. 해안종합건축사사무소와 N.E.E.D Architecture, New York에서 주거 관련 프로젝트에 참여한 경력이 있으며, 현재 성신여자대학교 공간디자인스튜디오에 출강 중입니다.

Graduated from Kyunghee University Architecture. Graduated with a master’s degree in architecture from Seoul National University and has completed a Ph.D course. Worked in Haean and N.E.E.D Architecture New York. Currently tutoring in Sungshin Women’s University.
박재현
Park Jayhyun, Co-Founder
경희대학교 건축학과를 졸업했습니다. 한울건축사사무소와 간삼건축종합건축사사무소에서 다양한 건축 프로젝트에 참여했으며 이후 (주)사람중심에서 단독주택 포함 여러 시공 프로젝트에 참여했습니다.
Graduated from Kyunghee University Architecture. Participated in various architectural projects in Hanul Architects and Gansam Architects. Joined Saramjoongsim Corporate afterwards and participated in various professional construction projects.

Rhee Hanbyeol, Co-Founder
홍익대학교 건축학과를 졸업하고 서울대학교 대학원 건축학과에서 석사 과정을 수료했습니다. 스타트업 아토컴퍼니에서 (부동산)공간 기획, 신사업 기획, 브랜딩 프로젝트를 리드했으며, 스타트업 플라넷타에서 1인 주거브랜드 기획에 참여했습니다.
Graduated from Hongik University Architecture. Completed a Master course in Seoul National University Architecture. Led (real estate) space planning, business planning and branding projects. Participated in one person housing branding and planning in Planet-a.
